I Gave up on Fad Diets and used This Method to Lose Weight
I was once in a lot of stress and began eating lots of foods just to get rid of stress. As a result, I became overweight and had a fat belly. I didn’t realize this until many of my colleagues started commenting about my size.
I decided to take up dieting as I was desperate to lose weight. I tried almost every diet under the sun such as Atkins, South Beach and many more but nothing seemed to work. It’s not that I didn’t lose weight with the help of these diet plans but they were just too restrictive, not to mention boring.
I gained back most of the lost weight once I resumed my normal diet as I got fed up with its restrictions.
So I tried something different and natural. It was the detox diet. For 2 weeks, I ate only raw fruits and vegetables. It was difficult for me as I always crave for junk foods but before you know it, 2 weeks have passed and I lost 13 pounds.
I switched to the moderate version of the detox diet during the next month and still lost 10 pounds. To my surprise, I didn’t gain back any weight even after resuming my normal diet. Now, I ensure that my diets are filled with lots of vegetables and fruits. The best part is, I always feel full throughout the day and no longer crave junk foods. Furthermore, I could fit in all my favorite clothes just like before.
