I have found the fastest way to lose weight is train with weight and make sure to eat every 2 to 3 hours. This helps to keep the metabolism racing which leads to faster weight loss

It is not exactly doing the same exercise It is doing it the same amount of time, or weights over and over. In jail people still gradually do more lifts, or with more weight. Doing the exact same thing, No change in reps, no change in weight, is not good. You don't build more muscle because the body is used to it and has built enough weight for it. It is like lifting a piece of paper 10 times a day.. Your not going to build mucsle. You have to change it up

I overcame my "crunch" desire buy adding things like almonds and macadamias (both low carb). Also learning the art of frying cheese (also called a Frico) to make a cracker like food.

These all make a difference.

For me, the toughest part of the low-carb diet was that I craved crunchy foods, like chips and crackers. It wasn't that I was craving the carbohydrates as I just really missed the texture. When I got a bad craving a few foods that helped me were crisp lettuce, fresh green peppers, cucumbers and really crispy bacon.

Does anyone know of a safe, I repeat SAFE over the counter diet pill that I can try that won't give me the "jumpies"? It seems like most of them make me skittish and keep me awake at night which then makes me all grumbly the next day. I am open to any suggestions as long as they don't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks in advance. S.

I recently lost over 60lbs and went from size 42 waist to a 34. Exercise was a huge factor, but I would have to say what we eat and when is a more crucial factor. I try to eat 5-6 smaller protein-rich meals with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, I eat my biggest meal of the day in the morning and taper off with subsequent ones throughout the day. This helps get the metabolism going and keeps the appetite under control. Obese people often eat less than I do, except they skip breakfast, chug sugary sodas all day, snack on greasy carb-laden junk food and then gorge before dinner and up until bedtime. By doing that, you are essentially telling your body to store fats and metabolize foods at a slower rate.
